Today begins the St. Andrew Christmas Novena. This is a Novena that is prayed every day for from November 30, the feast of St. Andrew to December 25, Christmas Day. It is a very short prayer, but that is because you are supposed to pray this prayer 15 times a day for each day of the novena. Form a special intention and then pray this prayer 15 times a day from today through Christmas. "Hail and blessed be the hour and the moment in which the Son of God was born of the most blessed Virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in piercing cold. In that hour vouchsafe, O my God, to hear my prayer and grant my desires, through the merits of Our Savior Jesus Christ, and His blessed Mother.
