During August LINK will need volunteers to deliver food to families in need who live in Herndon, Sterling or Ashburn. Deliveries are made to up to four families on Tuesdays
through Saturdays. If we can get two families to sign up to deliver each day, each family would only have to deliver to a maximum of 2 clients for that day. You will receive an email the day before your scheduled delivery date with the client's information (name, address, phone number, etc.). You should contact the client to discuss the delivery time. Volunteers pack the food by 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays, so you can deliver anytime after that provided the client is home.
